What we collect.
When you contact us by phone, WhatsApp or email we retain your name, contact number, address or postcode and any details you provide about the job, for the purpose of quoting and delivering the work. We do not sell, share or transfer personal data to third parties.
How long.
We keep a record of enquiries, chats and our dealings with you. If you would like your own record deleted, contact us at hello@hernebaypainter.co.uk and we will do it. Completed job records: 7 years (industry standard and HMRC requirement).
Website statistics
We count visits to this site, for statistics only, using our own counting tool. It sets no cookies and does not store your IP address. For each page view it records the page, the site you came from, any campaign label in the link you used, your country (approximate) and whether the visitor looks like a person or a robot. To count unique visitors it uses an identifier. We do not share this data with anyone except our hosting provider, which stores it on our behalf. We respect Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. If you click 'Don't count my visits' in the footer, we remember your choice in this browser with one small local-storage flag called na_ignore; our counter stores nothing else in your browser. You can object at any time using the link in the footer, or contact us at hello@hernebaypainter.co.uk. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in understanding and improving our site.
Your rights.
Under UK GDPR you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing hello@hernebaypainter.co.uk.
Data controller.
